Weekend Workshops Volunteering

Learn regenerative gardening by doing it yourself with other rad volunteers! On Saturday. December 16th from 9:00am to 12:00pm join us for the last Weekend Workshops volunteer event of 2023. We will learn how to identify undesirable weeds (typically non-native plants that outcompete garden plants) at Arlington and environmentally beneficial (or at least low-impact) ways to remove them! Arlington does not use herbicides, but that doesn't mean that every weed gets pulled by the roots! Participation is free and getting dirt-ish in a beautiful garden is always enjoyable! We’re hoping for a good turnout of gardening muscle right before the holidays! Arlington Garden is a volunteer-created and supported garden. We are not a municipal park, and we exist only because of the dedication and generosity of our community, especially the volunteers who keep the garden looking beautiful year-round.
