Botanical Guide Launch and Plant Giveaway

The guide features 15 species growing at Arlington Garden and their place in mediterranean climate ecosystems (mountains and rivers, fire and drought, predators and prey) and many human cultures. Illustrated by scientist and artist Emma Rose Fryer @emmaranthaceae and written by plant nerd AJ Jewell, this print guide (print is best, but we’ll have a digital version as well) will be available for free to Arlington visitors thanks to a generous grant.

If all goes according to plan, we will also have a “wish kiosk” (TM) set up with materials to write a wish for the wish trees (featured in the guide)!

Plant giveaway is first come, first served. Species will be announced on IG. One plant per person.
