As part of Innovate Pasadena's Connect Week, Michelle Matthews, executive director of Arlington Garden, and Mayita Dinos, the garden’s designer, will encourage attendees to think globally and act locally to regenerate our damaged environment. Topics they will discuss include the importance of urban forest, alternatives to lawn-culture, climate-appropriate public spaces, and gardening's relationship to the past, present and future of land stewardship.
