Arlington Garden, Sunday, October 13 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm  Part of Living Earth’s ongoing residency at Arlington Garden! Living Earth is a "LA-based membership-supported arts organization collectively owned and operated by its workers: local musicians, artists, and organizers." These workers, many of whom are friends of Arlington, produce monthly all ages performances exploring public art as a "creative act of restoration." In October, join Living Earth under the olive trees with beloved local artists and experimentalists Lucky Dragons. You can get tickets (which will definitely sell out) here. Lucky Dragons is "[a]n ongoing collaboration between Los Angeles-based artists Sarah Rara and Luke Fischbeck, lucky dragons research forms of participation and dissent, purposefully working towards a better understanding of existing ecologies through performances, publications, recordings, and public art."

Spend the late afternoon meandering the mansion of paths at Arlington Garden in Pasadena during this seasonal Sunday wine-tasting fundraiser hosted by West Altadena Wine to benefit Arlington Garden. We'll have 3 stations in our garden's "rooms" featuring 4 wines including The Meadow, a super-local rosé from Angeleno Wine Company produced and grown in Los Angeles. Choose your own tasting adventure as you ramble from station-to-station to experience the natural garden in the fall -- expect blousy textures and romantic colors -- and encounter other surprises along the way. Discover a Mountain of Joy, enjoy a playlist curated by Living Earth, and learn about the garden's fall landscape on a plant walk. Wine tasters must show ID at check-in. Children under 18 are free. Food will be available for sale. Please use the free parking at Westridge School parking lot at the corner of State Street and Orange Grove.
