Weekend Workshops: Making Lemon Curd

Learn how to make Meyer Lemon Curd using juice from lemons picked at Arlington Garden!* 

Samantha Burpee of Samz Jamz will lead this cooking tutorial outside in the garden. Participants will learn how to prepare, combine, cook, and store their delicious dessert spread. This is a tutorial and not a demonstration: everyone who participates will be involved in the cooking! And everyone will leave with a small jar of their own curd to enjoy at home.

This would make a good friend date! And you can easily apply your new knowledge to citrus harvested locally in your own neighborhood. Lemon curd compliments bread, scones. It is great inside a pavola, pie, or fruit tart -- it's the perfect food!
