Lynn Fang specializes in soil and compost ecology for community-based compost farm projects. She works primarily on urban projects focused on alleviating environmental justice and fostering a culture of care and inclusivity. She has a master’s in compost biology from the University of Vermont, where she looked at using compost to suppress plant disease and the microbiology of compost. She is passionate about applying scientific knowledge to her work in the field and the community, and teaching others about the power and influence of microbial ecologies around them, especially in the soil.
This talk will include an optional hands on workshop to gain a deeper understanding of soil health and soil regeneration.
